Introducing the UK Choir Festival

I am delighted to announce the launch of a brand new choir festival to take place on 29-30th October 2016 in the historic city of St. Albans, which I will be producing.

The UK Choir Festival is a brand new festival aimed to support, train and bring together choirs from all over the UK in a beautiful setting where people can learn, develop and thrive.

The festival is designed for choirs of all abilities, ages and style, no matter whether you are a local community choir, a cappella choir, school choir, choral society or barbershop choir.

For the first time, a new UK choir festival is being produced to give choirs the opportunity to be taught by some of the top workshop leaders in the UK.

Already scheduled to lead workshops are a renowned group of some of the top workshop leaders in the UK including Dominic Peckham, Ben Parry, Pete Churchill, Joanna Tomlinson, Ben Sawyer, Joanna L’Estrange and producer, Russell Scott.

This year, the UK Choir Festival will be sponsored by Vocalzone.

The UK Choir Festival promises to be exciting, informative, collaborative and culminates each day in an opportunity for each choir to perform on stage in a non-competitive platform.

I am absolutely thrilled to be producing this event and humbled by the support and enthusiasm I have received from the industry.  It promises to be a fantastic experience for everyone involved.  We need a platform for choirs to learn from the very best, to enable them to collaborate, learn and develop.  The UK Choir Festival is going to do just that….. and more.

The event takes place in St. Albans High School for Girls’ 400-seater Jubilee Hall on 29-30th October 2016.
